Shock of Gray

I shot a feature for Sarasota Magazine which was inspired by the book “Shock of Gray” by Ted C. Fishman, which is about aging and it’s impact on the worlds population.  I went out to the Ringling Museum of Art to shoot their retiree volunteer docents giving tours, then to the non-profit nursing home Pines of Sarasota where the average age is 87, then to Plymouth Harbor, Sarasota’s oldest Continuing Care Retirement Community for active seniors, and lastly to the Sarasota Opera House where the assistant house manager is 98 years old and cracking jokes!
